Life Update

Hello. It's me. I know, it's been a while. A really long while. Like 2+ months long while. You may or may not have even noticed, but I've thought about how long its been every day for the last 2+ months. 

Have you ever felt like life is just moving at the literal speed of light and you're running as fast as you can to keep up, but you're out of breath, hot, and just know that the finish line everyone was talking about was all a fallacy? Asking for a friend. 

I wish I had some extravagant reason for being so MIA, but the truth of the matter is your girl has just been busy. And tired. Busy and tired. Except like the most busy and the most tired I've been in recent memory. With busyness and tiredness taking such a toll, it's hard to find both the time and creative energy needed to create awesome content. The good news is, however, is that life is starting to slow down. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and the sun is shinning bright. So not to worry, if you actually noticed I was gone, content will become more regular around here.

So, like, what have I been up to? Well. Traveling, really. And not like the glamorous influencer sponsored travel either. Between my full time job and my personal travel, I have been home maybe 3 of the last 12 weeks. And not consecutively either. In the last 2+ months I've been to Puerto Vallarta, Tulum, Detroit (blah), Pittsburgh, Orange County/LA, San Antonio (twice), Chicago, Philadelphia and New York. I's tied, boss. While I typically love to travel, it has literally been exhausting. I come home and unpack my suitcase just to have to repack my suitcase. I've never been more envious of full time influencers/content creators ever. I have so much to share. I just need time. And a couple B12 shots. 

I'm most excited that after this weekend, which happens to be my 10 year class reunion, I get to be stationary for the foreseeable future (with the exception of a few day trips here and there). Woohoo! 

I also have some super exciting news that I've been trying to keep under wraps until the time is appropriate to share. And I'm going to be one of those people who teases super exciting news and makes you wait to find out what it is. Sorry. It will all be finalized come next month and it's definitely a game changer for me and my little family. Stay tuned. 

Baby's first time at Disneyland. I've been to Disney World a couple of times in my youth, but this was my first Californian Disney experience. My cousin added a Disney day to her wedding weekend festivities, and you would've thought I was 10 with how excited I was. 

How cute is my little flower girl? That's Kamille, my niece, and the cutest little angel baby of all time.

During one of the weeks I was home (I'd just gotten back earlier in the day), I mustered up the strength to go to the Bachelorette watch party here in Dallas. And Rachel showed up! She is 100% awesome and we're pretty much friends now. 

I think that's all I've got, ya'll. Yes, I did just write a blog post titled "life update" just to let everyone know that there isn't actual shit wrong. -- but ya girl is just busy. But at least I'm sharing some pictures of all of the things that have kept me busy, right? Right.
